Prior to becoming a tenant of a property you wish to rent
from B & B Homes there are some formalities to be
completed. This Information sheet lists our requirements.
References
We will require information to carry out a Credit Check this is as follows

Bank Account Details (this must have been opened at least 6
months)

Employment Details

Details of Current Landlord

ID from all tenants over 18 that are moving into the property,
Proof of residency (you will need to provide evidence of your
present address with a letter with your name and address on
this can be a utility or credit card statement. Also photographic
evidence a valid passport or driving licence with birth
certificate)
The Account
1.
The first Months rent in advance.
2.
A Months rent as a dilapidation deposit which is refundable at
the vacation of the tenancy providing no damage has occurred
and the property is left in a clean and tidy condition.
Rent Payments for Benefit Claimants
We require benefit claimants to open an account with a local Credit
Union for payment of their rent. A list of local Credit Unions is supplied.
Services/Utilities
Any services which require charges- Gas, Electricity, Water, Council Tax,
Telephones are all payable by tenants and tenants should check with
respective authorities regarding this. We will require proof of payment of
final bills before your deposit can be refunded.
Periodic Visits
It is part of our obligation to the landlord, together with being part of the
conditions of the tenancy that periodic visits of the property are made by
us. You will be given adequate notice in writing of our intention to visit.
Access can be gained with our keys if tenants are unable to be in
attendance.
